Chris Hogg faces a selection dilemma as Northampton Town prepare for their key League Two trip to Grimsby Town this Saturday. The manager must decide whether to retain the starting eleven that secured a hard-fought point against York City last time out.

Northampton's recent form has been difficult, with just one win in their last five league matches. They sit 23rd in the table with seven points from eight games, a position they are desperate to improve. Their last outing saw them draw 1-1 at York, with Joe O'Brien Whitmarsh scoring the equaliser. The team has scored 9 goals and conceded 15 so far this season, leaving them with a goal difference of -6.

Hogg could opt for continuity, fielding the same side that started at York. That would mean a back four of Jeacock, Donacien, Moore and Guthrie, with Josh Powell and Wormleighton in midfield roles. The attacking trio of Evans, Lemonheigh-Evans, Joe O'Brien Whitmarsh, Dale and Warhurst would be tasked with finding the net.

Grimsby, who are 11th, arrive off the back of a narrow defeat to Port Vale. They will pose a significant challenge at Blundell Park.

The match kicks off at 3pm on Saturday, with Hogg's team selection the key talking point ahead of the game. Northampton's next fixture after this is a home game against Notts County.
