Northampton Town have signed striker Harvey Saunders on a two-year deal after he left Tranmere Rovers at the end of the season. The 28-year-old scored 10 goals in 38 appearances on loan for Eastleigh in the National League last season. Saunders started his career at Fleetwood Town and went on to play for Hartlepool and Bristol Rovers before joining Tranmere in January 2023. New Cobblers boss Chris Hogg has praised Saunders' positional flexibility and energy, saying he will be a good asset for the team. Saunders will officially join Northampton on 1 July. The signing is a boost for Northampton Town, who are looking to strengthen their squad ahead of the new season. With Saunders on board, the team will be hoping to improve their chances of success in League One.
